Bridge scales, truck scales or weighbridges are used to weigh vehicles of larger size and weight. With a weighing capacity of 25-60 tonnes, they are available in a built-in version and with axle load measuring solution. In the group of vehicle scales, the certified design is of paramount importance, as the issue of documents for road transport is mandatory. Their most common applications are in agricultural and industrial sites. We distinguish between steel weighbridges and concrete weighbridges, and between recessed (manhole) and elevated (ramp) weighbridges. For frequent and very heavy-duty applications, we recommend a reinforced construction, lightweight (modular) for normal conditions. We can supply axle load weighing scales in non-authenticated design.
Steel vehicle scales
The bridge structure is welded, painted steel, which is delivered to the installation site ready for use. It has the advantage of faster installation on site (1-2 days) and is easy to relocate. It is available in both ramped (driveway) and recessed (shallow well) versions. The material of the bridge element has no influence on the installation method.
Concrete bridge scales
The frame of the bridge structure is welded, painted and delivered to the site, where it is set up as a formwork for concreting. The bridge structure is reinforced and concreted on site. The advantages are cheaper corrosion protection and lower cost of installation, homogeneous load capacity over the entire bridge span, and no need for guided traffic. It can be constructed in ramp (driveway) or recessed (shallow well) versions. The material of the bridge element has no influence on the installation method.
Axle load measuring scales
The device is suitable for measuring the axle load of vehicles by measuring the wheels. It can be used with either a 2 or 4-slipper solution. It can be used in technologies or for control measurements, because it is not allowed for certified measurements according to the relevant regulations.
