Description
The EC value plays an important role in nutrient supply. Plants can only grow properly if they are provided with the right EC value, so it is important to constantly monitor the EC value of the nutrient solutions applied and the irrigation water.
The conductivity (EC) value shows the amount of dissolved salts in the liquid. The more salt ions present in the solution, the higher the electrical conductivity.
The EC 3000 is a practical, easy to use instrument. The high sensitivity (platinum-coated ring) electrode is easy to use. The built-in heat sensor provides automatic and fast thermal compensation. The 200 mS measuring range also makes the instrument suitable for measuring stock solutions.
