pH indicator coil

pH indicator coil for use immersed in liquid.

Unlike other pH indicator coils, the Duotest contains two different coloured scales. This improves the interpretability of the results and reduces the likelihood of incorrect readings.

It is simple to use.
- Simply dip the test strip piece, torn from the coil, into the liquid to be measured (irrigation water, filtered soil solution, etc.).
- Shake off excess liquid.
- Wait a few seconds.
- Compare the discoloured test strip with the control colour scale on the side of the box.
- Read off the pH value corresponding to the colour.

Measuring range: pH 5-8
Resolution: 0,3 pH
Coil length: approx. 5 m

It is important to check the soil chemistry (pH), as plants grow best in soil with the ideal chemistry for them.

Soil pH values:

4,5 strongly acidic
4,5 - 5,5 acidic
5,5 - 6,8 slightly acidic
6,8 - 7,2 neutral
7,2 - 8,5 slightly alkaline
8,5 - 9,0 alkaline
9,0 < strongly alkaline
