Description
Soil pH has a significant effect on the uptake of nutrients. For example, a highly alkaline (high pH) soil inhibits the absorption of micronutrients, while the amount of certain elements can become toxic. Too low (acidic) pH inhibits the absorption of macro-nutrients.

Therefore, to produce a good quality crop, it is important to check the pH quickly and accurately, which can be done easily and cost-effectively with a pocket pH meter. The device can measure pH values in solutions and irrigation water in the range 0-14. Accordingly, the instrument housing is protected against splashing water. Accurate measurements are facilitated by the instrument's automatic calibration function and the pH4 and pH7 calibration solutions supplied. In addition, it is possible to record the instantaneous measured value on the 2-line LCD display.
