Description
Sentek, an Australian company, has been manufacturing soil moisture sensors and developing analysis software since 1991. They have the advantage that the sensors are placed every 10 centimetres in a break-resistant housing, which is then called a probe. These probes are available in different lengths, up to 30-120 cm. They allow very fast deployment and no siltation, measuring a real soil profile. They can be used with Sentek's own data transmission units, but also with Metos and Davis units.
