Description
The hatcher is suitable for hatching 140 hen eggs, goose, duck, turkey, guinea fowl, pheasant, partridge, quail eggs. Thanks to its size, it is also suitable for hatching ostriches and emus. The hatching temperature is adjustable, so it can also be used for breeding bees.

The built-in thermostat can be auto-tuned so that the heating unit learns how much energy is required to keep the hatcher at a precise temperature of 0.1°C. The heating element uses only 1 kWh of the 100 W power to maintain heat over 24 hours. Thanks to its high heating capacity and good insulation, it can also be used in unheated outbuildings.

As a standard, the incubator is non-rotating and the eggs are laid side by side on the mesh. The eggs should be turned twice a day, from one side to the other, using a wet finger. Why do we recommend it? The best hatching rate can only be achieved by manual rotation, as the eggs lay naturally and the capacity/space of the machine can be better utilised.

An automatic egg turner is available as an optional extra for hatchers. The hatcher's motor has a slow gear ratio, so that the eggs are rotated continuously. Cradles turn from right to left after two hours. It is recommended for continuous hatching, but it does not achieve a better hatching rate than conventional manual rotation. Semi-automatic, motorless rotators are also available, but their drawback is that frequent cycling cannot be guaranteed.
