The HIMAC bale chopper and bale extractor is suitable for chopping straw, straw corn stalk bales, for feeding and bedding on livestock farms, for mulching in row crops in nurseries.

The size of the chips in the standard version is min. 7-8 cm, max. 10-13 cm.

Bale crushers equipped with a set of counter-blades can produce a very fine end product of 1,5-2 cm.

Bale cutting time varies between 8 and 20 minutes and is largely influenced by factors such as the weight (density) of the bale, its shape, moisture content, the desired cutting length, the condition of the knives and the speed of the rotor, etc.

The method of chop delivery can be individually selected, from direct blowing, through high discharge, to spreading with a flexible plastic tube.

The high discharge kit allows the spreading of the chippings up to a height of 3 m, e.g. directly onto the mixing trolley or into a high storage bin.
