Description
For sale is a 2010 Iveco Massif 4x4 4x4 SUV with split gearbox, 208,000 km, 3.5 tonne tow hook, agricultural tow eye due to unused. Has been continuously maintained, only rust not fixed. It's practically a working machine, it can do everything. I've pulled logs with it, got into places where everything has sunk. It's very robust, it's not overcomplicated. It's got a powerful engine, it's almost wear-resistant. It has some aesthetic problems, but it can be solved with a padlock. Its mixed fuel consumption is 10 litres, which is very good for 3000cc and 2400kg. I've had a very good relationship with it for years, I'm sorry to have to sell it, but life has brought it this way.
Things I have had done: rear gimbal rebuild about 10,000 miles ago, turbo tube replacement (had a leak), brake discs, brake shoes, tank completely rebuilt, oil and filter changes regularly.
However, what is important to know about it to complete the picture is that the interior is not in perfect condition, scratches on the plastic trim, the rubber floor covering is not nice (I was going to replace this with sheet metal). The fuel level gauge does not work, so I always filled the 90 litre tank, reset the gauge and filled it up at 850 km. The windshield washer electronics don't work, I had it fixed once, then it gave up again a few weeks later, haven't bothered with it since. There are rust spots on the outside (not much) and a hole in the plate above the rear wheel arch, nothing of static significance but needs to be done before test. No air conditioning but can be fitted.
To sum up: it runs well, it's a buffalo, we used it as a family car as you can see in the pictures. Assembly is not complicated, a lot of compatible parts are available or can be made if the new owner doesn't insist on the original. As an example, Iveco wanted to sell me the brake discs for an astronomical amount, I had them made for 20.000 HUF in a CNC workshop that also makes brake discs. Price is a guide price, negotiable if you are serious.
