Description
It is with a heavy heart that we part with our beloved family member who came to us from a far away land, Germany, where he was cared for and maintained. An excellent choice for those looking for a truck that can be used for multiple jobs.
It worked super well, coming and going, delivering, tipping, lifting. Just like us, it doesn't like to rest. So he's ready to go to work right away, looking forward to it. Unfortunately, we can no longer provide him with the work he needs for his well-being.
Not a modern piece, born in 1994, but more reliable than today's pieces. It has a tipper design and is also equipped with a crane, which makes it particularly versatile for construction and haulage work.
We've also been grateful, with a complete chassis overhaul, shock absorbers, steering linkage and all the spacers replaced. Completely recent changes: oil, oil filter, air filter and fuel filter replacement. Also, tilt hydraulics controlled from the cab.
We could have been more grateful, the air is leaking at one of the brake pins, some spacer replacement is needed. Even so, we did the miles together, it never let us down.
Other features. It can lift almost 4 tonnes at 4 metres.
The crane is equipped with 4 down gantries for high stability. The crane can be controlled by radio remote control, but some tuning may help, we didn't use it. In addition to the crane, there are two towing hitches, small and large. Originally, even the saddle was hydraulically operated. The 471,893 km is real (as you can see from the compression of the engine), which reflects its age and condition. It's a strong machine.
The aluminium tipper trailer has also been restored. The entire bottom plate has been replaced and the electrical wiring and lights are new - but a worthy companion to the MAN.
