Heavy-duty mulcher for small and compact tractors from 40 HP. GEO EFGC series machines are ideal for small and compact tractors for the following tasks: mulching grass, brush and trees in meadows, pastures and forest edges. The connection of the mulcher to the tractor is standard rear Cat. I. three-point hitch, with a drive shaft speed of 540 rpm. The mulcher's drive is oil-fed and has a built-in free runner. As standard, the mulcher is equipped with 800 gram hammers, which are mounted one by one on the mulcher shaft. The straight cutting edge of the hammers ensures a complete cut of the meadow vegetation. In addition, smaller branches can be mulched without any problems. The mulching material is further shredded and ejected from the back by means of a counter-blade fixed in the mulcher housing. The height-adjustable smooth roller at the rear of the mulcher and the height-adjustable sliding feet at the side ensure adjustable cutting height. A scraper bar ensures constant cleaning of the rear roller. The mulching shaft and rear roller bearings can be greased from an easily accessible position on the outside. The front of the mulcher is covered with swinging plates to prevent any objects such as stones or mulched material from falling/flying out of the mulcher housing. The power transmission from the drive to the rotor is provided by a 3 or 4-fold belt drive, depending on the working width. The tension of the belts can be easily adjusted by means of easily accessible tensioning screws. The three-point suspension is mounted in such a way that the right wheel of the tractor runs to the right of the centre of the mulcher, in the direction of travel, on all working widths, on the area already fully mulched! As an option, the EFGCH model can be fitted with a hydraulic side-mounted linkage. The mulcher housing is made of 4 mm thick steel, the suspension is 6 mm thick. The low weight of this type of mulcher makes it particularly suitable for small and compact tractors above 40 HP.

The EFGC type is a reinforced version of the EFG type. This type is also a horizontal-axle mulcher, which can be fitted with Y-blades and hammers. It has a reinforced gearbox and a larger rotor housing than the EFG type. It is recommended for crushing grasses and herbaceous weeds up to a maximum stem diameter of 3 cm, but the machine is also suitable for crushing pine needles and wood trimmings up to a maximum diameter of 2 cm. The machine has a fixed design, no lateral movement, the three-point suspension is not in the middle of the frame! It is mainly recommended for municipal use, but it is also suitable for crushing pruning stalks and twigs in vineyards and fruit-growing, and for crushing plant stems in vegetable crops.
