Talex Opticut 320 disc lawnmower

The OptiCut series of rear mounted disc mowers are designed for mowing forage crops. A number of modern solutions have enabled Talex to create a machine that meets the most demanding customers' requirements.
- Instant blade change system: ensures easy and quick blade change.
- Impact protection: if something strikes the mower, the cutting unit is tilted back by 15 degrees.
- Hydraulic work cylinder: used to transport and manoeuvre the scythe.
- Spring pressure compensation system: springs relieve pressure on the cutting shaft on the ground for longer life.
- Easy access to cutting drums when blades or bearings need to be replaced.
- Cutting shaft safety: each drum is protected by a specific breaking point. If the drum is hit (e.g. by a stone), only the drum will stop working, not the whole line. This significantly reduces repair costs and breakdowns.
- Blade holders: made of hardened boron steel.
- Power transmission: controlled by 4 V-belts.
- Easy reversing: allows manoeuvring over cut-off rows.
- Protective tarpaulin: reinforced at the lower edge with rubber collar.
- Cutting axis operating range 0-8 degrees.
- Three-point suspension: reinforced wall profile and frame structure, Cat. II and III couplings.
