Our professional distillers (PF-DT and PF-2T) are built with a unique, thick 3 mm stainless steel body, which plays a huge role in the entropy during operation. In the double-walled versions, we use - also uniquely - a heat transfer tube system (in fact, gravity circulation), heating and treating the mash evenly from the inside and outside, thus making the distillate rectification "fireproof".
Our distillation equipment, developed a few years ago, ensures that you can produce the best-tasting fruit spirit in one brew by heating at low temperatures in an energy-efficient way. Thick (3 mm) stainless steel inner brewing vessel, stainless steel lid with deflegmator, thick (3 mm) solid carbon steel jacket, jacket thermometer, fill-drain tap, pressure gauge, safety valve, non-return valve where the water jacket ensures gentle brewing without heat shock. With copper tower system (which can be unscrewed with hollander and replaced by an optional two-stage tower at extra cost, allowing two-stage cooking (two passengers)), rectification chamber, lower external and upper-internal tower cooling, flow-through vapour tube jacket cooling, tower thermometer, cooling water thermometer, frog lock, rubber sealing in the lid. The wall, bent to a polygonal geometry, gives the distillation unit better thermodynamic properties and a larger surface area.
The double wall (water bath) ensures that the mash does not coagulate and allows gentle cooking and heat treatment without thermal shock, as important substances are not degraded during cooking, thus enriching the flavour of the spirit. The single-stage tower system ensures a single boiling of the spirit without refining (no need to boil twice), while ensuring the proper transfer of essential oils into the spirit, giving it the characteristic aroma and flavour of fruit brandies.
The aromatic basket is placed at the bottom of the deflegmator in a snap-on design. This is a grid (like the enrichment tower or the aroma chamber), whose role is to place plants and fruits containing essential oils and substances in the path of the spirit, so that the flavours can be transferred to the spirit without colouring or sweetening the final product.
It is also available with electric heating and electronic control.
