A multifunctional machine specifically designed to quickly break up logs, with a new concept conical screw or milling tool that easily splits any type of log and can also reach the roots of the tree if necessary. All Castoro models can also be converted into a drill by simply connecting one of the 3 types of twist drills available. The Castoro has a high torque epicycloid and a bidirectional gear motor that does not move away from the drive shaft system. An innovative system, placed between the tool and the gearbox, protects the shaft and gears and protects against kickback during the splitting process. The taper tool is provided by a 4-principles thread with 45 mm pitch. The replaceable hardened steel cone has an increased diameter shaft and an anti-rotation system. The special heat treatment applied to the taper provides extreme surface hardness. The taper screw has a hexagonal output shaft. This versatile and powerful splitter allows you to split logs of any diameter with ease, and by tightening the screw in the wood with just a few turns, it makes it easy to lift and move logs for stacking. A stump grinder is available as an alternative to the tapered screw, ideal for destroying logs or stumps alongside pavements, flower beds and streets, for example, avoiding the risk of damaging floors or buried pipelines.
