Lumag HEZ18N is a vertical (professional) hydraulic log splitter with a splitting force of 18 tons (±10%). You can use the machine on 400 V, but you can also choose to use the gimbal drive in combination with a tractor (min. 20 HP, TLT speed 540 rpm). The robust and heavy construction guarantees high stability.

You can easily split wood of different lengths up to 1 m. A big advantage of this type of splitting machine is that the cylinder is located on the outside of the machine. When splitting wood, it is recommended to split longer wood (e.g. 1 metre) to increase the overall working speed. You can then saw these splits to a length of, for example, 30-35 cm. A Lumag swing saw can do this very quickly. The minimum splitting length for this machine is 56 cm. If you still want to cut shorter logs, you will need to place a splitting block on the bottom plate. You can use the machine with 2 different splitting speeds. The slow speed provides higher performance. The Lumag HEZ18N log splitter is easy to load thanks to the low base plate. The right-hand support arm provides log retention and the left-hand support arm helps to lift the log. This allows the log to be split to stand under the cutting head. The log splitter is equipped with an extra reinforced three-point suspension (category I + II), so you can move the machine easily with a tractor.

The machine has a continuously adjustable stroke length, so you can adjust the height of the cutting head. If you want to split 60 cm logs, you can set the log splitter to stop at 65 cm, for example. This is a huge time saver. The very powerful 4500 Watt motor ensures a pleasant working environment.

The switch/plug combination is equipped with a phase change option. Make sure the motor starts in the correct direction of rotation! With 400 volt machines, you can run the motor to the left or right. This also depends on the extension cable connection. With a screwdriver in the switch, you can easily "reverse" the machine so that it always rotates in the right direction. The machine is equipped with large transport wheels as standard.
