Description
Straight from Germany! The SMA-700 is our newest model circular saw, with a powerful 15 HP (LonCin G-420F) gasoline engine and a 700 mm circular saw blade. With this saw, you can saw through logs in a fraction of a second. With a direct, practically lossless belt drive, you hardly notice that the blade is sliding over the log. The engine is equipped with an automatic low oil cut-off and can be optionally started with a recoil starter or the built-in electric starter. A 12-volt battery was installed in the saw specifically for this purpose. Unlike the majority of chain saws in this price range on the market, our SMA-700 has its own chassis with pneumatic tires and tow bar with ball head coupling. In this way, the saw can be easily transported. Many competing models are only equipped with small, hard, plastic castors and are difficult to move, not to mention completely unsuitable for maneuvering on soft ground! The swing can be extended on the left side to create a larger landing area for the tree if needed; that approx. The 20 cm extension is included in the delivery. On the right side of the tipper is a guide, which you can use to saw the wood to the exact size. The guide consists of a solid flat iron part and is completely stable. Many pull saws only use a thin, flimsy metal or plastic guide that often doesn't last long and that bends or breaks quickly. With our guide, you can precisely saw to a maximum of 56 cm.
