This unique, professional 400 V sawing and splitting machine, the Lumag SSA400E, combines three machines in one. The machine saws the timber to the desired length and then splits the sawn timber into 2 or 4 pieces (6-piece splitting frame available as an option). The split timber is then transported on a conveyor belt.

The chipper is equipped with a powerful 7.5 kW, 16 A electric motor. The advantage of the electric motor is, of course, that there is no engine noise or exhaust fumes, making it environmentally friendly. This machine allows you to split wood very safely, but of course the splitting yield is much higher than if both operations (splitting and sawing) had to be carried out separately.

You can transport logs up to 38 cm in diameter. The hydraulically driven chainsaw (blade length 500 mm) can saw the log to the desired length and the wood is then dropped in front of the splitting machine, which splits the wood with a hydraulic splitting force of 12 tonnes. The timber is then transported on a 3.2 m long conveyor belt to the location of your choice (either by making a mountain out of the split timber or by dropping the timber directly into transport bags or trailers). The maximum discharge height is 2 m. The splitting and sawing can be done simultaneously using two hydraulic pumps.

The machine can split an average of 4 cubic metres per hour. Of course, factors such as the speed of the supply, the thickness of the trunk and the type of wood are important. The machine stands on a transport base and is equipped with a towing hook coupling (not for use on public roads).

All machines are supplied with a 4-piece splitting grid and conveyor belt as standard!
