Description
The artSteel TRA-500 branch chipper is specifically designed for high-end industrial applications. The machine's frame plate is made of 10 mm thick hardened steel, laser cut and edge-bent for precise and accurate joints.
Minimum drive power is 50 horsepower. The three-point suspension is fully compliant with both standards (EU1/EU2). The driven shaft is a machined mart standard material with six ribbed hardened shaft ends.
The machine is available with two knives (+1 counter knife). All parts of our chipper (including the chopping knives) are fully manufactured by our company, so we can provide you with a continuous supply if required.

What is the performance of the artSteel TRA-500 tractor-driven shredder?
Our TRA-500 with accelerator gearbox is designed for heavy industrial work, especially for high volume applications. With a hopper section of 270 x 150 mm, we have created a highly productive machine capable of up to 8 m³/hour. The maximum branch thickness is 12 cm. An active braking system has been integrated in the hopper to control the feed rate for thick branches. The discharge opening can be rotated 360 degrees.
