Description
Thanks to its hydraulic retraction, working with the BX-42RS is a real pleasure. No pushing on this model. The two large feed rollers do it all by themselves. The speed of the feed rollers is continuously variable. This is important in order to adapt the feed speed to the diameter of the material to be chopped. Smaller diameters can be retracted faster than larger ones. If the feeder still jams, the feeder can be switched to reverse mode using the large holder on the hopper. In addition, this bracket can also be used to switch off the feed. The supply is via the tractor's hydraulics.

The wood chipper is supplied with a gimbal shaft. A shear pin is mounted on one side of the cardan shaft, which for safety reasons serves as a predetermined breaking point in case of clogging or overloading. This means that even larger tractors over 100 HP can be used without any problems. At least 25-30 HP engine power should be available.

There is a 51 x 51 cm opening at the top of the filling funnel. The opening at the bottom is 10,2 x 25,4 cm. A maximum branch diameter of 10 cm can be chopped.

The ejector is 152 cm high (plus lifting of the lower suspension arm) and can be rotated 360 degrees. A 50 cm extension is available on request. This means that the shredded material can be easily loaded onto a tractor trailer or directly into large bags. The discharge angle can also be varied. The BX-42RS ejects shredded material up to 6 metres!
