Description
The Jansen HS-20H110 log splitter is a special splitting machine. It can be easily lifted or lowered by means of a hydraulic cylinder and brought into transport position. The log splitter can and should only be operated in a stationary position! The gap size is 110 cm, the gap pressure is 20 tons. The hydraulic pump is powered by a very robust and high quality 6,5 HP Kohler petrol engine.

This log splitter is continuously optimised in the further development of our products. The current versions have significant advantages over their predecessors... for example, the operation is now directly on the cylinder, which significantly improves accessibility when stationary. In addition, many of the flexible cables have been replaced by permanently fixed metal cables, which make the appearance of the device much clearer and more professional. Last but not least, the wheels are now equipped with ball bearings; this guarantees a much quieter running.

The splitting pressure of our wood chippers is measured directly on the splitting head, so this information corresponds to the actual splitting pressure. Many other suppliers give unrealistic values that are never achieved in practice.

The situation is similar with the gap dimension. Here we give the actual, real value of 110 cm, which is the maximum length of a piece of wood. From the information provided by many competitors, the length of the slitting knife has to be subtracted, which is quite misleading. You should also pay attention to the stroke of the cylinder piston. In our model, it is 100 cm, which means that the splitting knife passes almost completely through the wood; a successful splitting process is guaranteed here! On most available splitters of this size, the cylinder stroke is only 50-60 cm, which means that the blade only moves halfway through the tree, so there is often a risk that the piece to be split will have to be "released" from the splitter again with an axe or chainsaw.

This splitting machine is guaranteed to split any piece of wood and will not yield to almost any log.

The log splitter is extremely easy to use. The motor is very easy to start with a pull starter and starts very well even in sub-zero temperatures.

With the 30 cm long splitting knife or splitting wheel, you can open thicker, larger diameter logs in one operation. This often doesn't work with shorter splitting wedges, and you often have to turn the log 180 degrees, which is very labour-intensive.

The hydraulics are designed so that the splitting knife can be stopped in any position and moved back and forth. The force is always present and the splitting knife does not have to be repeatedly moved back to the starting position as is the case with many competing products.
