DCSK professional tech - Jansen JX-72RS tractor shredder

NEW in the range of shredders. Thanks to the hydraulic feeder, working on the machine is a real pleasure. Two feed rollers move the wood evenly. The speed of the feed rollers can be continuously varied by means of a control valve. It is important to adjust the feed speed to the diameter of the material to be chopped. Smaller diameters can be crushed faster than larger diameters.

The rollers are driven by the tractor's hydraulics. A pressure supply and a pressure-free reverse or dual-acting control device and a minimum flow rate of 40 l/min are required.

The shredder is supplied with the gimbal. A shear pin is mounted on one side of the articulated shaft to act as a predetermined breaking point in the event of jamming or overloading for safety reasons. Larger tractors over 100 HP can be used without any problems.

The tractor must have an engine power of at least 55 hp. The speed of the PTO camshaft shall be 540 rpm.

The filling funnel shall have an opening of 91 x 70 cm at the top and 21 x 29 cm at the bottom. The chipper shall chop fresh wood of approximately 16 cm diameter. Many competitors quote the maximum diameter of the chipped material as the size of the bottom feed opening, but this figure is unrealistic and may trigger the PTO's safety mechanism.

The back of the tray folds easily and can be secured with pins for transport.

Maintenance of the machine is very simple, by loosening a single screw you can open the entire flywheel cover and access the 4 cutters. The flywheel has a specific weight of 96 kg and the attached 'wings' exert a very strong thrust, through which the crushed material is finally blown out through the discharge hopper. Clogging of the shredder is almost impossible!

The height of the discharge hopper is approximately 217 cm (plus bottom stroke) and it can be rotated 360 degrees. The angle of discharge is also very easy to change. The crusher can throw the crushed material up to 10 metres!

The crusher is designed for 3-point suspension and can be used from category I.
