NEGRI BIO R185 branch chippers are recommended by the manufacturer for composting plant waste from the maintenance of green areas up to a maximum branch thickness of 9 cm. The purpose of branch chipping is to reduce the volume and/or to produce wood chips which can be used as mulch or as fuel in a suitable boiler.

NEGRI BIO R185 BREAKERS are available in 8 models, 2 electric, 3 petrol and 3 TLT powered. The RI models are equipped with a hydraulic retractor with adjustable speed and direction of rotation. For efficient and continuous shredding, it is not necessary to manually assist the progress of the branches, as the infeed roller feeds the wood according to capacity. 2 knives and 10 hammers are responsible for a uniform chipping, while the adjustable refining grate guarantees a uniform chipping size.
