The NEGRI BIO R280-M professional branch chipper is recommended by the manufacturer for composting of plant waste from green areas up to 15 cm branch thickness. The purpose of branch chipping is to reduce volume and/or produce wood chips that can be used as fuel for mulching or in a suitable boiler.

Unlike the Negri Bio 280 branch chipper models, the M models have no blades on the rotor and are equipped with 24 special hammers. These branch chippers are more powerful, capable of chipping even branches contaminated with soil, small pebbles or containing nails.

The NEGRI BIO R280-M BREAKERS model is available in 10 types, 6 trailed petrol/diesel breakers with electric start, 3 "CN-M" type-marked crawler (rubber-spring) petrol/diesel breakers. For the latter type, even hilly areas of up to 36% are no obstacle.

A new feature of the TLT-powered version is that it can be towed by a suitable vehicle via a tow rope.

All models are equipped with a hydraulic feed roller with adjustable speed and direction of rotation, which eliminates the need to manually assist the twigs in order to ensure efficient and continuous chipping, as the feed roller feeds the wood according to capacity. In addition, the 280 branch chippers are equipped with a steel conveyor belt. The even chipping is ensured by 2 knives and 24 specially designed hammers.

All models are equipped with an OBS (On Board System - Multifunctional control system) control system, complete with NOSTRESS. The display shows, among other things, the part and total operating hours, the rotor speed, the feeding speed and the NOSTRESS system offers 2 programmable options for feeding thinner and thicker branches. To make the operator's job easier, possible fault codes can also be read from the controller.

The electric self-starting system on petrol and diesel models makes the machine easy to operate and provides a comfortable working environment. Detailed performance data can be found on the branch chipper data sheet.
