The NEGRI BIO R340-M professional branch chipper is recommended by the manufacturer for composting plant waste from the maintenance of green areas up to a branch thickness of 18 cm. The purpose of branch chipping is to reduce the volume and/or to produce wood chips which can be used as fuel in mulch or in a suitable boiler.

Negri Bio R335-M branch chipper models, unlike the Negri Bio R335 models, do not include a blade rotor, only 40 special hammers.

4 models of NEGRI BIO R340 PRUNER models are available, 2 with towable diesel electric start and adjustable height drawbar, 1 with "CN" type diesel electric start with crawler (rubber spring). For the latter type, even hilly areas of up to 36% are no obstacle.

1 TLT version can be towed by a suitable vehicle via a tow rope.

All models are equipped with hydraulic feed rollers with adjustable speed and direction of rotation, which eliminates the need to manually assist the twigs in order to ensure efficient and continuous chipping, as the feed roller feeds the wood according to capacity. In addition, the R340-M branch chippers are equipped with a steel conveyor belt. The chipping is performed by 40 specially designed hammers.

All models are equipped with an OBS (On Board System - Multifunctional control system) control system, complete with NOSTRESS. The display shows, among other things, the part and total operating hours, the rotor speed, the feeding speed and the NOSTRESS system provides 2 programmable options for feeding thinner and thicker branches. To make the operator's job easier, possible fault codes can also be read from the controller.

The electric self-starting system of the diesel branch cutters makes the machine easy to operate and provides a comfortable working environment. Detailed performance data can be found on the branch cutters' data sheet.
