Description
The Pilous CTR 750 is the basic category in the horizontal band saw range.

The CTR 750 is a sawing machine with electric motor and manual feed. It is a larger and more powerful version of the popular CTR 550, allowing the processing of logs up to 75 cm in diameter. The saw blade size in the CTR 550 is 27 x 0.9 m, while in the CTR 750 the blade size is 34 x 1.1 mm, which together with a powerful 5.5 kW motor can saw large diameter logs. Ideal for family farms, carpentry workshops or small sawmills. Very simple manual control. The controls are mounted on a mobile bridge, allowing the operator easier access to the workpiece when cutting. The height of the cut can be adjusted with a simple hand crank. This is the first machine type in the world that has been designed primarily for use with modern bimetal saw blades.

- Carbide inserts mounted on three sides guide the band saw blade with maximum cutting precision and ensure a long service life.

The machine has a power of 5,5 kW, which guarantees low running costs and easy connection to the mains. The machine can also be equipped with standard saw blades, which are identical to those of the higher professional models. The larger teeth in these saw bands allow you to increase productivity when cutting large diameter logs. The frame is equipped with cast aluminium idler wheels that balance vibrations. The wheel circumference is grooved. The groove has an interchangeable rubber-textile belt that creates an optimal contact surface between the wheel and the saw blade.

The precisely mounted running wheels are driven via a V-belt by a powerful professional electric motor, which is balanced to absorb vibrations. The tensioner wheel system moves inside a solid cast iron body, providing long life and precise adjustment for long-term operation.
