Description
Compact and easily portable band saw for fast and convenient cutting of railway rails. Especially useful for rail repair and maintenance. This band saw can be transported to site in two parts and quickly assembled there. The clamping part with the system that feeds the material into the cut. It allows very simple, quick and reliable clamping to all types of rail. Feeding the cut is done by simply turning the handwheel. The system is of rugged construction, reinforced with strong chrome-plated plates and rods for maximum cutting precision and long life. The saw arm is made of solid cast aluminium. The professional, noiseless and maintenance-free drive is provided by an industrial electric motor with worm gear drive. Precision cutting is guaranteed by carbide strip guides on three sides of the saw blade. All machine components are robust and of industrial quality.

The locking system makes blade change very quick and easy. A complete cooling system can be connected to the machine. The cooling liquid is led from the pressure tank directly to the cutting. Using biodegradable coolants, the cooling system is completely environmentally friendly. For easy transport, the saw frame is equipped with large handles that provide protection during handling and transport.

Optionally available with single-phase, single-speed 230 V motor.
