The Jansen HS-22A62-V2 is a premium class log splitter. It has a real 22 ton breaking capacity and a very robust 6.5 HP OHV petrol engine.

This model is manufactured to the latest EU product safety standard EN 609:2017.

In our log splitters, the splitting force is measured directly at the splitting wheel so that this value corresponds to the actual joint splitting force. Many other vendors give unrealistic values here that are never achieved in practice.

This splitting machine is guaranteed to split any piece of wood and will not yield to any log. The log length to be split can be up to 65 cm.

The log splitter is easy to operate. The motor can be started simply by pulling the starter cord, and it starts well even in sub-zero temperatures. The built-in log lifter is very practical, allowing heavy logs to be lifted with ease. The log lifter can be locked in the upper position when not needed, and in this position it serves as a second guardrail.

The existing towing hook and towing attachment can be used to transport the unit with ease. However, the device is not approved for road use, i.e. it is prohibited to tow it behind a car on the road. An exception to this rule is towing with a rural or forestry tractor. In this case, you may tow the log splitter on the road. Make sure that you observe the Highway Code (lights, direction indicators, number plates, etc.). Alternatively, you can of course put the log splitter on a trailer using a ramp.

Thanks to its narrow width of around 118 cm, you can easily transport it even on a conventional trailer.

With the 20 cm long splitting wheel, you can also split larger diameter logs in one cycle. This often doesn't work with shorter splitting wheels, and the log often has to be rotated 180 degrees, which takes time and effort.

Within the European Union, it is forbidden to use crosses with the log splitter. The latest EU standard EN 609:2017 generally prohibits the use of crosses or multiple splits on log splitters.

The hydraulics are designed so that the splitting wedge can be gripped in any position and moved forward or backward at will. The force always remains the same and the splits, as with many competing products, should not be returned to the original position.
