The NEGRI BIO R640 is the top-of-the-range machine. The manufacturer recommends it for composting plant waste from the maintenance of green areas up to a maximum branch thickness of 20 cm. The purpose of branch chipping is to reduce the volume and/or produce wood chips that can be used as fuel in mulch or in a suitable boiler. The branch chipper rotor is equipped with special hammers.

The NEGRI BIO R640 CHipper model is available in 3 towable models: 2 diesel with electric start and height adjustable drawbar and 1 TLT powered version which can be towed by a suitable vehicle via a towbar.

All models are equipped with hydraulic feed rollers with adjustable speed and direction of rotation, which eliminates the need to manually assist the movement of the branches for efficient and continuous chipping, as the feed roller feeds the wood according to capacity. In addition, the R640 branch chippers are equipped with a steel conveyor belt. A 68 specially designed hammers ensure an even chipping.

A hydraulic rubber discharge conveyor belt allows unobstructed discharge of wetter wood chips, thus avoiding blockage of the chipper.

The radio remote control makes the operator's work easier and safer.

All models are equipped with the NOSTRESS system, which automatically controls the feeding of plant waste and branches. The display shows, among other things, the part and total operating hours, the rotor speed, the feeding speed, and the NOSTRESS system offers 2 programmable options for feeding thinner and thicker branches. To make the operator's job easier, possible fault codes can also be read from the controller.

The electric self-starting system of the diesel branch cutter makes the machine easy to operate and provides a comfortable working environment. Detailed performance data can be found on the branch cutter data sheet.
