The SN142 branch chipper is the latest addition to our range. Supplied with feed rollers as standard. The speed of the feed rollers is continuously adjustable by means of a control valve. This is important because smaller diameter branches are drawn in faster than larger ones.

A minimum of 10 l/min is required to operate the feed rollers.

The branch crusher is equipped with a PTO cardan shaft. A shear pin is mounted on one side of the PTO shaft, which serves as a predetermined breaking point in case of blockage or overload for safety reasons. This means that even larger tractors with more than 100 hp can be used without problems.

The minimum tractor power required is 70 HP. PTO speed must be 540 rpm.

The upper part of the hopper is 114 x 75 cm, the lower part in front of the rollers has an opening of 39 x 26 cm. It chops fresh wood to a diameter of about 18-20 cm. Many other manufacturers specify the maximum diameter of the chipped material to be the same as the bottom funnel hole, but this specification is unrealistic.

The back of the hopper can be easily folded down and secured with transport pins.

The machine is easy to maintain (excellent access to the knives), so you can open the full cover of the flywheel and access 4 knives by loosening just one screw. These knives have blades on both sides (double-sided knives) for easy rotation when needed. The flywheel has a diameter of approximately 90 cm and a net weight of approximately 120 kg. The flywheel has wings attached to it which generate a very strong thrust force, by means of which the crushed material is blown through the discharge funnel. This very strong pull means that clogging is almost impossible.

The discharge height of the discharge funnel is approximately 265 cm and can be rotated through 360 degrees. The angle is also very easy to change. The SN142 branch crusher will drop crushed material up to 10 metres!

The branch chipper is designed for 3-point suspension.
