The NEGRI BIO C13 petrol powered branch chippers are recommended by the manufacturer for the production of medium to large wood chips up to 13 cm branch thickness. The purpose of branch chipping is to reduce the volume and/or to produce wood chips that can be used as mulch or as fuel in a suitable boiler. The chipping is performed by 2 knives and 10 specially designed hammers.

It is towable:
The gasoline powered branch chipper is equipped with a towable, marketable trailer.

OBS control + NOSTRESS:
All models are equipped with OBS control (On Board System - Multifunctional Control System), complemented by NOSTRESS. The display shows, among other things, the part and total operating hours, the rotor speed, the feed rate, etc. The NOSTRESS system continuously detects the rotation speed of the rotor and interrupts the material feed if necessary, thus avoiding overloading the machine. NOSTRESS 2 provides programmable options for feeding thinner and thicker branches. To make the operator's job easier, possible fault codes can also be read from the controller.

Electric self-starter system:
Makes the machine easier to operate and provides a comfortable working environment.

Adjustable counter-blade:
Improves the chopping result and increases the life of the counterblade with the right adjustment.

Removable refining grate:
Guarantees a smaller chop size. When chopping wet or more fibrous material, the finer grate can be removed.

Adjustable speed and direction of rotation of the hydraulic feed roller:
For efficient and continuous shredding, it is not necessary to manually assist the twigs in their progress, as the infeed roller feeds the wood according to its capacity.

The ejector tube can be folded down to the adjustable/transport position:
The foldable and lockable ejector tube can be folded down to the transport position to facilitate transport and ensure operator safety. It can be rotated 270º and its discharge distance can be adjusted to achieve the right working position.

Foldable large and handy feed hopper:
Facilitates transport and loading of crop waste, allowing high hourly output.

Safety:
Dosing can be stopped immediately:
➤ By pressing the emergency stop button
➤ By pressing the red protective frame around the feed opening.
➤ By pressing the red bar above the dispensing opening

Bearing lubrication system:
Facilitates maintenance of the machine.

Use:
➤ Can be used on larger farms to produce compost/mulch by shredding branches from pruning shrubs, fruit trees, hedges.
➤ In forestry and communal areas for chopping tree branches.

The chips can be used instead of pine bark spread on the ground to prevent the spread of weeds and keep the soil moist. The chips are a source of organic nutrients and can be used in compost. Wood chips can be used as fuel in a boiler suitable for firing.
