The Jansen HS-22A62K is a premium grade log splitter. Its real splitting force is 22 tons.

The hydraulic pump is driven by a very robust, high-quality 6.5 HP Kohler petrol engine or a powerful electric motor (400 V, 2.2 kW). You can choose between electric or petrol drive.

In our log splitters, the splitting force is measured directly at the splitting wheel, so that this value corresponds to the actual splitting force at the joint. Many other vendors give unrealistic values here that are never achieved in practice.

One of the most important advantages of this device is that you can operate the distributor in a vertical or horizontal position. However, the possible combination operation should be stressed! That is, you can operate the distributor either with the 6,5 HP petrol engine or with an electric motor. Depending on where it is used, it is then ready for action. This splitting machine is guaranteed to split any piece of wood and will not surrender to any log. The log length to be split can be up to 62 cm.

The log splitter is easy to operate. The motor starts simply by pulling the starter cord and starts well even in sub-zero temperatures. The electric motor only requires a suitable cable and power connection.

You can easily transport the unit using the existing towing hook and towing bracket. However, the device is not approved for road transport, e.g. it must not be towed behind a car on public roads. An exception to this rule is towing with a rural or forestry tractor. In this case you may tow the log splitter on the road. Make sure that you observe the Highway Code (lights, direction indicators, number plates, etc.). Alternatively, you can of course put the log splitter on a trailer using a ramp.

Thanks to the narrow overall width of around 105 cm, you can easily transport the device even on a conventional trailer.

A 4-way wedge is supplied free of charge with the splitter, which can be easily moved over the splitter. Switch between wedges in no time! Use the 30 cm splitting wheel or the 4-way wedge to split larger diameter logs in one cycle. This often doesn't work with shorter splitting wedges and the log often has to be rotated 180 degrees, which takes time and effort.

Hydraulics are designed so that the splitting wheel can be held in any position and moved back and forth at will. The force always remains the same and the splitting wheel, unlike many competing products, does not have to return to its initial position.
