Jansen HS-20H110 is a log splitter with one difference. Using an additional hydraulic cylinder, the machine can be conveniently laid in a horizontal standing or vertical transport position. The log splitter can and should only be operated in the upright position! The maximum log length is 110 cm and the splitting force is 20 tons. The hydraulic pump is powered by a very robust and high quality 6,5 HP Kohler petrol engine.

This log splitter has been continuously optimised during our product development. In this way, the current versions have several notable advantages over previous models, for example, direct operation at the cylinder has been made much easier by improving accessibility in the vertical operating position. In addition, many flexible lines have been replaced by fixed, mounted metal tubes, making the device much less cumbersome and more professional. Last but not least, the wheels are ball-bearing mounted; this ensures significantly quieter mobility. In some of the videos, you can still see the old version of the HS-20H110, where the control lever is located quite far back in vertical operation.

In our log splitters, the splitting force is measured directly at the splitting wheel, so that this value corresponds to the actual insertion splitting force. Many other vendors give unrealistic values here that are never achieved in practice.

The same applies to log length; an actual, real value of 110 cm is given to allow for the length of a piece of wood. The competitors give lengths from which the length of the splitting has to be subtracted, which is very confusing. The stroke of the cylinder piston must also be taken into account. On our model, it is 100 cm, the splitting wheel runs almost completely through the tree; a successful wood chop is guaranteed! In the majority of splitters of this size, the stroke of the cylinder piston is only 50-60 cm, with the consequence that the wedge only runs through half of the tree and there is a risk of having to "free" the piece by splitting it with an axe or chainsaw.

This splitting machine is guaranteed to split any piece of wood and will not yield to any log.

The log splitter is easy to operate. You can start the engine simply by pulling the starter cord and it starts well even in sub-zero temperatures.

The existing towing hook and towing hitch make it easy to transport the unit. However, the device is not approved for road use, i.e. it is forbidden to tow it behind a car on public roads. Alternatively, you can of course mount the trailer on a trailer using a ramp.

A 4-way wedge is supplied free of charge with the splitter, which can be easily moved over the splitter. You can switch between wedges in no time!

With the 30 cm splitting wedge or the 4-way wedge, you can split larger diameter logs in one cycle. This often doesn't work with shorter splitting wedges, and the log often has to be rotated 180 degrees, which takes time and effort.

Hydraulics are designed so that the splitting wheel can be held in any position and moved back and forth at will. The force always remains the same and the splitting wheel, unlike many competing products, does not have to return to the starting position.

We have been marketing these devices for years and hundreds of customers have tried them. This log splitter will not fail on almost any piece of wood, and no customer has ever brought us a realistic piece of wood that this log splitter could not split.

Notes:

You will need about 20 litres of hydraulic oil to get the unit ready before use. Hydraulic oil rated HLP46 would be ideal and is widely available. In addition, approximately 1 litre of engine oil for the engine. For this purpose, a multigrade oil rated 10W40 or 15W40 is recommended.
