The WL 8 single-axis shredder is a proven classic for shredding all types of wood waste.
It is used in many places, for example in wood processing plants all over the world.
The high performance of these highly demanding shredders guarantees proven and reliable technology at the best price-performance ratio. The machines are characterised by a very robust design, which ensures an extremely long service life (even outdoors).
Easy operation thanks to the touch screen Siemens PLC control.
To ensure that the electronics are optimally adapted to the machine, we design and build our switch cabinets ourselves. We use only high-quality components - for example from Siemens or Rittal. The touch surfaces guarantee quick adjustments. Functions such as chopping time or machine stop function ensure high throughput. The built-in overload protection also prevents machine failure.
No material bridges thanks to the hopper design!
The hopper can perform several tasks at the same time. First, the material to be shredded is fed through it - manually, mechanically or by conveyor belt. The large opening also facilitates the loading of very large materials. However, the special design with a rounded front is decisive for shredding. Even with bulky materials, the shredder cuts freely. On request, hopper extensions and gas spring lids are also available.
Durable rotor bearings.
The rotor bearing must be of particularly robust construction to withstand the extreme stresses of the shredding operation. To prevent dust or foreign matter from entering, they are separated from the machine chassis. This makes it very maintenance-friendly and easily accessible.
