Description
- Brand new domestic development to mitigate spring frost damage

The Mad Frosty is in fact a biomass-fuelled, air-mixed frost protection machine. By igniting fuel placed in a firebox inside the machine, the machine spreads the heat, smoke and steam released throughout the plantation. The tractor drives the machine fan from the TLT axle. The fan draws the air required for cooling through the machine via the air control vent. The cooling air mixes with the exhaust fumes and additional cold air in the nose vents to distribute a uniform temperature mixture. By its design, the temperature of the outgoing air can therefore be reduced several times, so that it does not damage the plants or immediately evaporate upwards as it leaves the room, but is spread out close to the ground to protect them.
