When the fuel placed in the firebox inside the machine is lit, the machine spreads the heat, smoke and steam released throughout the plantation. The tractor drives the machine fan from the TLT axle. The fan draws the air required for cooling through the machine via the air control vent. The cooling air mixes with the humid exhaust gas and additional cooling air through the nose vents to distribute air at a uniform temperature, which raises the temperature of the area to be protected, thus protecting the plants from frost damage.
