The GACEK is designed for harvesting cherries, sour cherries and other stone fruits such as plums. Harvesting is done by shaking, then the impurities are removed by a fan and the fruit is poured into boxes or pallet boxes.
GACEK cherry harvesting is an innovative solution, using an inverted "umbrella" that is hydraulically folded under the tree before the fruit is shaken off.
Only 2 people are needed to operate the device: the tractor driver and the operator.
The GACEK cherry harvester can harvest 50-60 trees per hour under optimum conditions.
The distance between trees is 2.2-2.5 m.
