Description
Very lightweight, built-in battery hedge trimmer with excellent cutting performance for use around the house. Single-sided blade with 24 mm tooth spacing, built-in cut protection, screw-on impact guard, battery charge indicator.

Standard equipment

- Single edged cutting blade
- The double-sided cutting blades are sharpened on one side. The special design of the blades ensures a perfect cut.
- Double-sided cutting knives
- STIHL hedge trimmers with double-sided cutting blades do a perfect job on both vertical and horizontal cuts. By working on both sides of the blade, optimum results are also achieved in corners. Thanks to the swivel handle, it can be used by both left and right-handed users.
- Anti-vibration system
- Vibration damping rubber bushings and steel springs minimise vibrations transmitted to the handles, ensuring effortless operation (illustration shows a STIHL HS 81).
- ElastoStart
- When starting two-stroke engines, the compression pressure causes shock-like forces to occur, which also strain the muscles and joints. ElastoStart reduces this noticeably. A special shock-absorbing element in the starter handle pivots in response to the pulling force, allowing smooth starting without sudden force.
- Electronic ignition
- The perfectly insulated electronic ignition guarantees reliable starting and smooth engine operation. The high ignition voltage ensures a stable ignition spark and long ignition duration. This leads to improved fuel combustion and reduced exhaust emissions.
- Hook on handle
- Housing integrated hook-in eye for hanging on the wall. This allows space-saving and secure storage of the machine.
- Manual fuel pump
- With the manual fuel pump, fuel is fed into the carburettor by pushing a thumb. This allows the engine to be started with less jerking after a longer break in operation.
- Long-life air filter
- An easily accessible felt filter with a long replacement interval.
