The IFS type deep fertiliser spreader uses the soil loosening knives to deliver precisely metered amounts of nutrients to the root zone of the vegetation, while loosening and aerating the soil, improving its structure and biological quality. The amount of fertiliser to be applied can be controlled independently on each side, or can be cut off as required. The spreading unit is driven from the power pack via a cardan shaft at 540 rpm. The IFS spreader knives are reversible and the knife handles are equipped with shear pin safety. The working width of the machine can be varied by adjusting the beam.
