GEMMA-3-4-5 row planter for onions, garlic, beans, from the Hungarian distributor.

Gemma seeders are available as 3-row, 4-row or 5-row machines. They are suitable for use with tractors with 40 HP Category II three-point suspension. The planters are perfect for small to medium sized farm plantations.

Significant improvements have been made to the row width, row spacing and planting depth to meet the high agro-technical requirements of vegetable production. The machine configurations allow it to be adapted to the needs of garlic, spring onion and green bean growers. The seed drill can be adapted to plant the right seeds by fitting the right size cups (28 mm or 35 mm) in the hopper on the transport chain. The cups can be easily replaced by screwing them into the chain links.

Another important parameter is the line spacing. A 3-row planter allows seeds to be planted at a row spacing of between 12 cm and 48 cm, a 4-row planter between 12 cm and 32 cm, and a 5-row planter between 12 cm and 24 cm.

The seed spacing in the row can be adjusted between 9,5 cm and 21,5 cm. The adjustment is made by changing the sprocket on the drive shaft. The use of a Taper Lock sleeve to mount the sprockets allows easy assembly and disassembly of the new wheel.

The sowing depth is infinitely adjustable with support wheels in the range 3/5/7/9 cm.

The wheelbase of the seeder allows it to work with tractors with a wheelbase of 135 cm or 150 cm. The wheels of the seeder fit into the tractor's wheel tracks.

The machine is equipped with press wheels and levelling axles as standard.
