Description
The FurrowForce is a Precision Planting developed precision capping unit that has many advantages over other factory capping units:

1. Automatic pressure control
The FurrowForce automatically adjusts the pressure according to soil conditions, ensuring optimum seed sealing. Other factory sealing units usually use fixed pressure, which does not adapt to changing soil conditions.

2. Real-time detection of soil conditions
The FurrowForce sensors continuously monitor soil conditions (e.g. hardness, moisture) and adjust the closure based on these. Conventional sealing units do not have such sensors, so they react less effectively to changes.

3. Optimal core-soil contact
Precision sealing ensures perfect seed-to-soil contact, resulting in better germination and early growth. Other sealers do not always seal the seed trench properly, which can lead to uneven emergence.

4. Reduces soil compaction
The FurrowForce closes the seed furrow gently but effectively, causing minimal soil compaction, whereas other factory units can apply excessive pressure.

5. Cost-effectiveness in the long term
Optimized germination and plant development improves yields, which quickly recoups the cost of the device. Using other sealing units can reduce yields due to germination problems.

6. Flexibility on different soil types
The FurrowForce performs well on sandy, clay or mixed soils because it adapts continuously to changing conditions. Some factory units only work effectively on certain soil types.
