The Reinert Flame Technique is a practical, economical and environmentally friendly alternative to weed control that works completely chemical-free or with minimal chemical use. It is the ideal solution for removing unwanted vegetation in many areas of agriculture.

How does it work?

The flame technology is not based on the complete burning of weeds, but on a short heating process to 50-70°C. This temperature is sufficient to cause fatal damage to the cells of the plant, as the cell wall ruptures and the cell proteins coagulate, causing the plant to die quickly.

The heat is transferred to the plant surface using special propane gas burners, ensuring effective and targeted weed control. The optimum distance between the working burners and the soil is 10-12 cm, so that the heat only reaches the outer third of the working flame, avoiding damage to the crop.

Areas of application

- Pre-emergence weed control - can be applied before the crop emerges to keep the area weed-free.
- Post-emergent treatment - based on the thermal tolerance difference between the crop and the weeds, providing targeted and effective weed control.
