Description
The KERTITOX GEMTRAK towed field sprayer on offer is equipped with a 4,200 litre polyethylene spray tank, a 24 metre parallelepiped suspension, a two-stage mechanism with electrohydraulically opening airbag spreader and a load-controlled air spring steered (active tracking) running gear.

It is available with 18-20-21-24-27-28-30 m sprayer wheels according to customer requirements, and is also available without airbag.

Technical specification for the precise farmer looking for excellent field performance and comfortable working conditions:
- Rigid drawbar with conventional D45 drawbar eye and hydraulic support leg
- Pneumatically shock-absorbed and steered undercarriage with tracking system
- Pressure range: from 1650 to 2250 mm. To be specified when ordering as the axle is currently only available in two sizes for the given track width ranges. The track width can only be changed afterwards by rotating the rims and changing the ET number (rim change).
- 2-circuit air brake with mechanical parking brake
- Tyre size: 340/85 R46 (13,6x46)

The lightweight spreader is guided by the paralelogram suspension, sprung and damped by nitrogen reservoirs, completely independent of the chassis. The stability of the spreader frame is further enhanced by the paralelogram structure, which is completely independent of the machine chassis. Gas-charged telescopic arms and springs specially designed for this sprayer allow a refined yet firm frame support, maintaining the frame balance at all working heights. The working width starts at 12 metres, partially folded, for a total working width of 24 metres.

The spreader frame can be opened in two stages through the working rollers mounted on the inner wings. To avoid an obstacle, the outer member can be folded back independently from side to side.

Optional automatic frame level control adjusts both the height and tilt of the frame. The system includes at least two ultrasonic sensors, a tilt sensor and an angle sensor. There is also an ultrasonic sensor on each of the arms of the spreading frame and in the centre of the machine. It allows maximum precision distance control on uneven ground by controlling the spray wheel sections. In end-of-row turns, the spray wheel rises to the preset height range when spraying is stopped and then lowers back to the preset position when spraying is resumed.
