The Lyra plough is recommended for medium to deep ploughing and is available for all soil types (except gravel) with 2, 3, 4 or 5 tines with 20, 25, 30 or 35 cm wide blades. The ploughshares are made of extremely strong boron steel. The blades fitted to the ploughshares cut the top of the soil to be cultivated, which is then deposited at the bottom of the furrows, resulting in a less weedy soil. The position of the front hoe is adjustable: it can work in or next to a furrow. Rubber or steel training wheels to adjust the working depth.
