Description
It has long been observed that seeds, typically wheat, maize and soya, germinate much more evenly, at the same time and in the same size, from properly recompacted soil after sowing. Berkó's CV type cambridge rollers compress clods and prevent soil crusting, thus helping plants to germinate and retain water. At the same time, the machine is also ideal for pre-sowing soil cultivation, typically preferring the front trowel version. The main aim is to break up the dried clods left on the surface and prevent soil evaporation by back-compaction. The segments of the three-part machine cover the soil perfectly and follow the soil surface perfectly.

Opening and closing of the BERKO-CAMBRIDGE rollers from the transport position to the working position is done in two stages by means of hydraulic working cylinders. The diameter of the working rollers is 480 mm, which ensures easy rolling, but at the same time these rollers already have a considerable weight.

The roller set is made up of two types of rings: the wider one for compaction and the narrower one for cleaning the rollers. The machine is available in two working widths, 4.5 and 6.0 metres, both with spring-loaded serrated front trowel.
