What do you need to know about the KERNER X-CUT SOLO shredding roller?
Corn earworm, fusarium and stem rot make the shredding of crop residues a central issue in agriculture.
X-CUT is a roller system consisting of knife rollers and cutting discs. They ensure cost-effective shredding of organic residues at high area performance and low effort.

The Kerner X-Cut Solo consists of two tools running behind each other: the knife cylinder and the cutting disc. The knife cylinder has a diameter of 400 mm and 8 crossed knives. The crop residues are pressed in and cut lengthwise.
The discs have a diameter of 400 mm and are 150 mm apart. The disc profile has a favourable effect on the drive of the disc and at the same time ensures proper dusting of the soil.
The Kerner X-Cut Solo is equipped with soil tracking. The blades and cutting discs are mounted in short separate sections. This way the working members follow the soil surface.
