Keeping crops weed-free has always been a major problem for farmers. In addition to the chemical weed control technologies of the past decades, more environmentally friendly mechanical cultivation methods are once again coming to the fore.

In this spirit, we recommend our FB-type comb-type borers for mechanical weed control.

They are suitable for:

- for weed control operations on cereals, rape, beans, beet, potatoes, maize, vegetables, etc., from plant emergence to 30-40 cm stem height,
- for killing germinating weeds immediately before sowing,
- for the removal of weeds already established in the pre-emergence period.

The machine's cultivating elements almost comb through the top 1-2 cm of the soil and, in addition to pulling out weeds, also carry out surface weeding. This helps to maintain the soil's moisture content. The cultivation elements (spring tines) of the comb-type harrow follow the unevenness of the soil surface and, by this means and by correctly adjusting the tiller, the crop is not damaged and the weed control is effective.
