Equipment: Brake system 2-wire air brake system with mechanical brake force regulator as standard, optionally available with automatic (ALB) brake force regulator, which adjusts the required braking force according to the tank's saturation. Undercarriage The tank car is equipped with a rigidly installed through-axle undercarriage. In order to adjust the appropriate drawbar load, the distance between the drawbar and chassis can be adjusted mechanically in three positions. Tires The sizes of the tires fitted as standard on tankers are listed in the summary technical table above. Drawbar The steering of the trailer is ensured by a rigid drawbar. The tow eye is connected to the front plate welded to the brackets of the closed section of the triangular drawbar with a screw connection. Depending on the towing tractor, they can be of different designs: ø50 mm, toroidal hole, rotating towing eye (1500-3000 kg vertical load), for lower towing equipment (standard design), ø40 mm, cylindrical bore towing eye (max. 2000 kg vertical load) for upper towing equipment (option ), ball ø80 mm towing eye (max. 4000 kg vertical load), for lower towing equipment (option). The rear part of the welded drawbar is connected to the fork nest formed in the front part of the tank via studs. A welded support rod is used as standard to support the drawbar and absorb the vertical load forces, the upper end of which is connected to the brackets located on the upper part of the tank, while the lower end is connected to the lugs welded on the upper plane of the drawbar with studs. The desired drawbar height, or the ideal tilt angle of the tank can be set by installing the upper end of the support rod in one of the holes on the upper brackets. As an optional option for more demanding designs, springing and height adjustment are made possible by a hydraulic working cylinder and hydraulic accumulators connected to the two spaces of the cylinder. The lower end of the double-acting hydraulic cylinder rests on the similar but shorter support drawbar, while the upper end rests on the upper brackets of the tank. In the first step, with the help of the working cylinder, we set the ideal switching height of the tow eye so that the inclination of the tank is also appropriate. Then the branch connecting to the tractor is closed. During driving, as a result of dynamic load (e.g. braking, passing over uneven roads), the pressure in the supporting branch of the working cylinder suddenly increases, the hydraulic oil flows against the pressure into the hydraulic accumulator. The hydraulic cylinder is compressed, acting as a spring and damping the dynamic effects transmitted to the tractor's traction. After the excess load is removed, the state of rest is restored. The movement in the opposite direction is dampened by the hydraulic accumulator connected to the lower space of the working cylinder. The cardan-driven compressor and its oil separator are mounted on the drawbar. The trailer disconnected from the tractor is supported by the support leg mounted on the drawbar or supported by a support wheel. The wires of the air brake, electrical and hydraulic systems are attached to the drawbar. The pipelines of the air brake and hydraulic system are attached to the towing triangle. Tank and its fittings The welded tank is self-supporting, so no separate chassis is needed. At the points of power input - drawbar connection, undercarriage connection - the welded auxiliary support running along the tank shell and cushion plates distribute the concentrated load on the tank shell. The casing of the tank with stiffening rings is a welded shell made of rolled belt plates, which is closed at both ends by welded shallow relief vessel bottoms. In order to clean the tank, there is an openable hatch on the rear tank bottom. Breakwater(s) are installed inside the tank. On the cover of the openable hatch there is the spout, which is connected to a slide lock from the outside. The suction hose can be connected to the slide valve with a quick connector. The front part of the tank is equipped with a floating globe shut-off valve that prevents overfilling and serves as the primary protection of the compressor. A trap vessel with a floating ball valve was installed in the suction line, which serves as a secondary protection for the compressor. The fullness of the tank is shown by the mechanical filling indicator located on the front tank bottom.
