Description
The BENASSI FOX top-mounted walk-behind mowers are specially designed for heavy-duty applications. This machine does not shy away from rough, uneven terrain and extreme steep slopes. It shreds tall grass and shrubs with ease. The Benassi FOX walk-behind mowers have been developed for municipalities, road and highway maintenance and are therefore also suitable for professional use. The low centre of gravity provides excellent off-road capability.

Depending on the model, the mowers are equipped with a powerful Briggs & Stratton / LONCIN engine with a maximum power output of 13.51-23.6 hp. The hydrostatic drive allows stepless speed control by foot pedal. On 4 WD models, all-wheel drive and rugged tyres front and rear ensure good traction even on the toughest terrain. If required, the differential lock on the rear axle can also be activated by foot pedal.

Flexible and rigid cutting table
The cutting table suspension is a special feature. It can be adjusted to a floating position for mowing grass and to a fixed position for trimming shrubs and bushes. The top-mounted mowers are equipped with a 95-110 cm wide mower unit. The cutting height is adjustable between 3-9.2 cm - 4 fixed and 6 floating positions.

With the stem crushing technology, grass is shredded and mulched evenly. The cut grass is spread over the entire working width. The cutting table is offset to the side, so mowing around obstacles is possible.

The Racoon top mower can maintain large areas without straining the operator. The ergonomic and upright seat position provides ample leg room. The seat position is adjustable.
