The Bomet Gemini planters are available in two versions for our customers: (row spacing: 67.5 - 80; 75 - 90 cm), with adjustable row spacing within the specified range.
The Gemini two-row potato planters are designed for use with 65 HP / 70 HP category II and III tractors with three-point suspension. The planters are primarily recommended for medium sized farms!
The main structural elements of the machine, such as the 800 / 870 dm³ hopper, podium with steps and handrails, bailing chutes or discs are mounted on the machine frame.
The advantage of the seed drill is that the distance between the rows is adjustable between 67,5 cm and 80 cm or between 75 cm and 90 cm.
The two-row belt with bucket is driven by a chain drive. The use of 8 sprockets in the gearbox has made it possible to achieve a spacing of between 17,5 cm and 45 cm. The depth indicators allow a planting depth of between 4 cm and 12 cm. The bail is formed by chorus bars or shaping discs, and you can also use shaping discs for the final shape of the bail.
The seeder is equipped with rear lighting as standard, which allows safe driving on public roads.
The planter can also be equipped with inserts that allow planting small or large potatoes.
An additional optional equipment to increase the efficiency and economy of the machine is the fertiliser dispenser (metal or acid-proof steel). 50 litre hopper feeders are mounted on the sides of the planter. The dispenser allows the initial dose of mineral fertiliser to be applied directly during planting.
The machine can also be equipped with a liquid fertiliser dispenser with a tank capacity of 100 litres. The spray nozzles are mounted under the chute pipes. This solution allows the tubers to be sprayed when they fall on the sowing area.
