The Carlotti harvester is designed to pick vulnerable tuber crops. It is ideal for harvesting sweet potatoes (batata), for example.
The compact design and the hydraulic drawbar allow it to cope perfectly with shorter rows.
It is simple and efficient to use: the crop, once lifted from the ground, is conveyed to the grading conveyor via the elevator belt. Sorting is done manually by the operator, who then places the fallen pieces in the side chute.
The crop can then be placed in crates, containers or bags and placed on the ground in sequence after the machine.
