The canopy crusher is used for the mechanical destruction of vegetable foliage (carrots, parsley, beetroot, celery, parsnips). The machine is driven by a TLT. The maximum permissible speed of the cardan shaft is about 540 rpm, which is about 1300 rpm on the drum. The machine is equipped with 2 counter-rotating drums with rubber pads. Thanks to this design, the machine runs very quietly. The machine shreds and discards excess foliage without damaging the roots of the vegetables. The machine can be equipped with 2 cutting discs, which can perform the pre-harvest milking operation.
